Bio
Jeanette Johnson was born on May 5, 1963. She has been attending Short Center South art programs for approximately 10 years. She is a master at line drawing. Varied, stylized and exquisite her line work is truly reminiscent of Matisse. She creates uncanny life like portraits of people both from observation as well as photo. She is an incredibly talented artist who chooses to focus mainly on portraiture and figurative work. Jeanette is one of the few artists that can work successfully in any medium. She has excelled in watercolor, oil pastel and acrylic.
