Bio
Kyle Taylor graduated high school in 1985 and began attending Short Center programs shortly after. Since graduating he has lived in a variety of setting but primarily independently. While at Short Center, Kyle has excelled in theatre and poetry and, in 1990 began expressing himself in visual arts. He prefers oil pastels and has excelled in that medium. It would be easy to say his visual art is an extension of his poetry, but as it has progressed, the artwork is far more complex. Recently, Kyle's work has been included in several group exhibits and at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, CA.
