Bio
Robert grew up in a socially and economically depressed area of Los Angeles. As a young boy he was isolated from his peers. As an adult he moved to the Sacramento area where he later began to attend Short Center Art programs. He has been attending art programs at the Short Center for over a decade now. For years his work reflected a personal world filled with celebrities, dance parties, and people in unusual places. It has been only within the last two years that Robert has been primarily focusing on formal landscape watercolor painting. He began taking watercolor at the Short Center and has been inspired by and dedicated to the medium since. He comes to the Short Center and works on his watercolor paintings Monday through Friday from 9:30a.m until 2:30p.m.
